Prototype Part? Looks Like a Machined Casting.

Graphicast introduced our new Design and Rapid Prototyping concept earlier this year, and it has proven to be an effective method to quickly obtain prototypes that replicate a  production  cast metal metal part. Our design team works with customers to start a new part design with the casting process in mind (e.g., draft, radii, cast surfaces and near net shaped geometry).

We then use a cast a block of our ZA12 alloy as a machining preform and machine it exactly to the casting geometry, including parting lines and any gating vestiges!  Basically, you will be prototyping to the final design in the final material.  For more details or a consultation, fill out our web site contact form or e-mail me directly [email protected].
