On April 4th, Graphicast Inc. had the pleasure of hosting Senator Jeanne Shaheen in our Jaffrey, NH facility. While touring our production floor we discussed the tariffs being proposed in Washington D.C. for aluminum and steel – as well as the impact they might have on the economy at large, the industries Graphicast works with, and small businesses across the country.
During our visit, we also had the opportunity to discuss Graphicast’s specialty: High quality metal castings manufactured with ZA-12 alloy – a material not targeted by the proposed tariffs on aluminum and steel plate, sheet, and billet. While tariffs could surely impact the industries we work with, the material and process used at Graphicast come together again to offer customers in a variety of industries an insulator against rising costs.
